Final Fantasy XVI-Themed Café to Open in Tokyo to Celebrate Game Release

In celebration of the highly-anticipated release of Final Fantasy XVI, Square Enix has announced the opening of a themed café in Tokyo, Japan. The collaboration café is set to launch within the publisher's Square Enix café, located close to the station in Akihabara, near the entrance of the popular Yodobashi Camera megastore. The café will be available for a limited time, between June 22 and July 7, 2023.

Reservations for the Final Fantasy XVI collaboration café will open on June 16 at 6:00 p.m. local time. Due to the limited number of tables relative to the café's popularity, it's recommended that those interested make a reservation to secure their table. An interesting note is that there will be a separate reservation site specifically for foreign customers, which indicates that Square Enix is anticipating a high volume of international visitors.

The themed café will offer a range of food and drink options inspired by the world of Final Fantasy XVI. While the exact menu is yet to be revealed, fans can expect a variety of fun and imaginative dishes that incorporate elements from the iconic game series. In addition to unique themed offerings, any guest who orders a drink will receive one of 18 different collectible coasters featuring a character or eikon from the game. Similarly, those who order food will be gifted one of four collectible luncheon mats.

Some of the items available for purchase include laser-engraved crystal paperweights, leather and metal keychains, t-shirts, jigsaw puzzles, and the ever-popular clear files.
