Pay attention to Pixel Genesis

As I contemplate on whether this sense of nostalgia is rooted in the resurgence of 90's fashion or the 15th birthday of Minecraft, I flashback to those summers that felt endless. Back to a period when my entire day revolved around playing games on my Nintendo Game Boy Color. Back to simpler times when melodies existed in two-digit formats and victory or defeat was announced in monochrome sound.

While time travel is not yet an actual feature in our lives or even in Minecraft, we're here to offer the closest thing possible— the unveiling of our latest album, Pixel Genesis!

Immerse yourself into this new wave of nostalgia with 12 remixes inspired by retro gaming and infused with your favorite Minecraft tunes; featuring Infinite Amethyst by Lena Raine and Precipice by Aaron Cherof. In collaboration with artists such as Snail's House, Anamanaguchi, Hyper Potions, Elliot Hsu, AIKA, Synthion, and Leon Chang, this remix album escalates the Minecraft score to a lively 150 bpm complete with striking synths and rhythmically-driven drops that keep you jiving.

But why am I merely describing the splendor of this album? It's available right now, and you can tune into it or even catch the music video at your desired location or even here! Not just that, we've also curated a fresh Minecraft Essentials playlist just for you on Spotify!
Let's get to know the artists:

AIKA is a multifaceted artist - a singer, music producer, illustrator, animator, graphic designer, and a creative storyteller grounded in the soil of California, USA. She stepped into the limelight with her official remix of Virtual Riot's hit "In My Head" in 2017.

Anamanaguchi, a quartet of Peter Berkman, Ary Warnaar, James DeVito, and Luke Silas from New York and Los Angeles, presents intensely passionate digitized tunes. Their repertoire includes a memorable incident where they launched a piece of pizza into outer space!

Elliot Hsu, an artist and composer originally from New York and currently residing in Tokyo, Japan, composes music inspired by Japanese RPGs, focusing on orchestral and ethnic genres while prioritizing world-building and storytelling.

Hyper Potions, an American electronic music gig spearheaded by Ian Tsuchiura (or Sushi Killer), is recently associated with the Tokyo Machine's CHOMPO and completed a tour in the US, including an opening act for renowned J-Pop star LiSA at San Diego Comic Con.

Leon Chang, also famous as leyawn, a New York-based musician and artist, creates music influenced by video games and his albums Bird World (2017) and Return to Bird World (2020) offer soundtracks to a fictional video game featuring a small bird's adventures.

Snail’s House, the alter ego of electronic music producer Keitaro Ujiie from Japan, represents a mix of future bass, kawaii future bass, and chiptune crafting soundscapes that are both modern and nostalgic, vivacious yet subtle.

Synthion, an American music producer, DJ, singer, instrumentalist, and VTuber based in Seoul, South Korea, crafts refreshing, energetic tunes that combine the best of dance music and anime soundtracks; Minecraft has been a significant part of her life since she was just a decade old.

Why not join in as we revisit the past and uncover some fresh nostalgia with this album? Now, if you'll pardon me, I'm all set to loop Pixel Genesis and construct the initial town from a specific monster-catching game in a brand-new Minecraft world. Catch up in a few months!
