Geometry Dash is an engaging platformer filled with numerous stages, captivating avatar designs, and much more. For novices to Geometry Dash, the game presents a considerable challenge, starting right from the initial stage. This guide aims to assist you in conquering the game's very first official stage, Stereo Madness.
Section 1
First Cube Challenge
- Leap over the initial twin spikes. At the "stairs," proceed to ascend each one (disregarding the final step).
- Leap over the starting pair of spikes. Reach the block area and bound onto each block.
- Be cautious of the steps around the 14% mark. Maintain a series of jumps.
- Work your way through the subsequent segment. At first glance, this part may look puzzling, but if you alternate between jumping and dropping or execute a sequence of four jumps, you'll manage it. Then quickly drop beneath the subsequent ledge, and hop out to avoid colliding with the wall.
- Encounter the third set of steps, echoing the second in design. Here, though, you need to descend to dodge a spike on the last block.
Section 2
Inaugural Ship Maneuver
- Navigate the ship. For ascent, tap/press/click, and release for descent. This controls the vessel's vertical momentum.
- Strive to stay centered. Holding a middle course will essentially see you through.
- Be prepared to slightly descend in the upcoming area.
- Notice the upward "stair" formation. Propel upwards slightly to bypass this obstacle.
- Evade crashing into the wall as the section concludes.
Section 3
Second Cube Challenge
- Bypass a spike, then tackle a set of steps. Three jumps followed by two drops, or two jumps, one drop, and one more jump will earn you a gold coin, useful for unlocking icons, colors, and a pair of stages.
- Prepare for a lengthier stair sequence. Ascend entirely, then jump through a descending stepped area with openings.
- Take heed when the backdrop turns scarlet. The challenge intensifies: execute a double jump onto a ledge, then drop, jump twice more, drop again, and instantly leap onward.
- Overcome a pair of spikes, then a triple spike challenge. This requires utmost precision – aim to jump as late as possible without clipping the spike.
- Traverse the upcoming array of obstructions, which include single-spike leaps, steps, descending steps, an additional bound, a non-jump zone, another relatively straightforward leap, and yet another stepped platform.
- Pay attention to blocks positioned above and below in the following area. Jumping onto the upper blocks grants a gold coin, but watch for a spike on the last lower block, which you'll need to jump over, or you can choose to drop past it.
- Tackle the next part with three jumps. Despite seeming intricate, three well-timed hops are the key.
- Double-drop and prepare for yet another triple-spike challenge. Proceed with three jumps, a couple of drops, and finish with a double jump – pause briefly, then leap until you reach the /GameMode: ShipFlyer transition.
- Engage in the ultimate ship segment. Navigate between a pair of obstacles, over one, beneath another, and then thread through three successive ones. Those hunting the gold coin rocket upwards just before the second hurdle to uncover a hidden route atop the barrier. Then, bracing yourself, embark upon a complex and arduous sequence to snatch the final gold coin.
